Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company

A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Project Management Company will be set up for ensuring value for money during all stages of project implementation.

The SPV will be incorporated and answerable to the owners of the project.

Primary Responsibilities:

Their project oversight responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: 

1. Undertake the coordination of all project management related activities through the judicious disbursement of dedicated project funds specifically committed to the oversight responsibilities of the SPC start-up activities.

2. The SPV management team will coordinate activities specifically defined in the project scope of works, the EPC Main Contractors Contract, the procurement of related project services of technical, management personnel and services of consultants and suppliers. 

3. The SPV will maintain all project documentation and make same available for project monitoring, auditing and evaluation purposes.

4. The SPV will provide owners monthly and quarterly financial and management reports reflecting progress of implementation and all such information as required for the information of assigned company personnel.

5. The SPV will also coordinate all protocol, insurance, port handling, health and safety, tax exemption and levies schedule of the project. 

6. The SPV will also through the Project Director attend and report owners board meetings as shall be scheduled for reporting on the status of the project. 

7. The SPV will supervise the completion of the FEED studies, project management and office operations, as well as logistics and services coordination with respect to the EPC Contractor services.
